In Rifkin's "A Change of Heart
About Animals", I really enjoy the way the writer made the text personal
and used pathos. Rifkin connected the animals to humans and tried to give the
readers a feeling of sadness. The text showed us how similar human and animals
really are and that made me rethink a lot of things towards animals. As for Vince
Parry's "Branding a Condition.", I found the strategy of
exemplification very interesting. He uses exemplification to strongly support
his claims with very powerful evidence.
